Since 1980, Dr. Wispelwey has been helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. And now, Dr. Wispelwey’s son, Dr. Chris Wispelwey, has joined the practice. Together, these Franklin Lakes dentists take great pride in their work, striving to create lasting relationships with every patient.

Dr. Chris Wispelwey D.M.D.
Dr. Wispelwey is a graduate of Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and Duke University, where he was a member of the football team for 4 years. Wispelwey Dental was started by Chris’ father John, nearly 40 years ago, which he was proud to take over and carry on his tradition of excellence. Dr. Wispelwey has taken advanced coursework in Smile Design, Cosmetic and Full Mouth Dentistry, as well as Sleep Apnea Dentistry. He has completed a year long curriculum at Columbia University in Implant Dentistry and is currently studying at the Kois Center under John Kois.
Dr. Wispelwey enjoys spending time with his wife, Michele, and two kids. They have been residents of Wyckoff since 2012. Dr. Wispelwey’s time outside of the office is spent with his family and cycling.
Dr. John Wispelwey D.M.D.
John is a graduate of Farleigh Dickinson Dental School and started his private practice in 1980. He has been honored as one of the Top Dentists in the state by NJ Monthly magazine (2017, 2016, 2015 and 2014). John has received advanced training in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, including full and partial arch restorations, implant restorations, cosmetic veneers, and bonding. He is a member of the Academy of Comprehensive Dental Studies and takes education courses across the country with some of the most respected lecturers in dentistry.
John was born and raised in Northern New Jersey. In his free time, you can find him riding his motorcycle to upstate New York or as far away as the Colorado Rockies.

Our commitment to comprehensive treatment includes a thorough exam at each visit, checking your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer screenings, indications for joint disease, as well as only the necessary amount of x-rays. We will stay up to date with any changes to your medical history, and adjust our treatment accordingly.
